Any favorite bouts this far into the competition? Any particular matches up your looking forward to in the team competition?

Also, please comment on what you think of the television broadcast! We're here in London so haven't been able to see or hear any opinions on them!

The best has to be Seth Kelsey taking out the number one seed. Actually, all of Kelsey's matches were fun to watch, he has great footwork. (Daryl, I unfortunately didn't get to see you in action, but following the scores online got pretty intense, lol).

As to the television coverage, the commentator for NBC has been amazing - he's doing a great job describing the action & giving brief explanations of the rules and traditions of the sport so non-fencers can follow along at home. I had my mom watching both sabre and épée with me yesterday, and considering she hasn't seen sabre since before some of the more recent rule changes, it was really helpful to have good commentary. The funny part was when the announcer kept saying what Zagunis or Wozniak should do if they wanted the next touche - and it was exactly what they did. Wonder if some of what he was saying was dubbed in after the fact?!

GBR vs. ITA in the team foil had an incredible atmosphere thanks to the crowd reactions and passions of the fencers. When they had their big run against Aspromonte to take the lead I thought the roof would come off excel.

Other great bouts: Ota vs. Cassara, MIF; Aboulekessem vs. Choi, MIF semis; USA vs. Russia, WTE; Vezzali vs. Nam, WIF bronze medal bout; Homer vs. Yakamienko, MIS.

Seth's bouts had me biting my nails! I was present for the Great Britain USA match, and it was amazing! The whole arena stopped! Also loved our USA vs. France match in Men's Foil specifically Gerek's 11-1 come back!

Seth Kelsey's overtime madness was definitely the highlight for me in the individual.

For team, I can't get enough of RUS's Cheremisinov.  He is an awesome fencer....even if he loses his head and goes, 3-11 in the last minute of their losing match?

This would be my favourite match from the games. Baldini and Choi fighting for bronze.
